This family home renovation restored the Federation home back to its glory by removing the later rear extension and replacing it with a form more sympathetic to the character of the original house. This extension consists of an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, with wraparound deck. The building was raised by 1m to allow for the existing open undercroft storage to be converted into extra space for this growing family, including an enclosed space housing a home office, additional bedroom and bathroom, and lockup garage.
